I am sooooo busy and I love it. I am currently working really, really hard and it is so nice to be really active for a change. It feels at the moment like I have too many new ideas then I have hours in a day. But I won’t complain. I am extremely excited about that.
But first let’s have a quick look back. On the last two Sundays I had two stalls and it was so much fun again. First we sold at the Dark Market at the Dunker, which is more a Gothic market. I felt right at home, met nice people and even some old friends. Incredible. I have been away from the German scene for almost nine years and there are still the same people around. So that was great fun. A lot of people were interested in my things and I feel like we could make ends meet here in Berlin. So hurray for that.
Last Sunday we had a stall at the Rockabilly and Punk Flohmarkt at Wild at Heart. And again we had so much fun. To make everything a bit more sweet there is even my favorite burger place in the whole of Berlin next to the Wild at Heart so lunch was an extravaganza. 😉 This market is more punk and rock’n’roll really but again I felt quiet at home and met some fab people. We were asked if we will be there again in August and of course we said a heartfelt yes.
So you can see that I really enjoyed my first two stalls. I really almost forgot how much I enjoy the interaction with my customers. And I got so many lovely compliments. That’s always good for the ego. Haha.
But maybe let me show you some of the sparklies I made especially for the Rockabilly and Punk Flohmarkt. I think my stuff is usually more goth then punk, while I am more punk then goth, so I enjoyed making these massively. I am actually thinking about extending my range slightly into that direction. In the end you can describe goth at the lovechild of 70ties punk. So why not.
